The SMARTATHON'17 is a challenge aimed at fostering a co-creation community that may work with cities to address key-challenges such as: climate, energy, data, housing, (urban) space, water, wastes, mobility, work, and people and communities centric urban life.
The Smart City paradigm is challenging cities about procuring new ICT-based solutions to improve sustainability, climate responsibility, light, environment, knowledge and science in urban policies, quality of living and so extracting value from data.
The DREAM SmartCity project, contextual to SMARTATHON’17, is looking for new visions, models, solutions and paradigms to respond to those challenges. Better if responses are co-created under a collaborative environment where diverse approaches are brought together. This is what this co-creation challenge, SMARTATHON’17, is about.
